Kathryn, during her childhood exhibited a remarkable imagination. At five years old, she crafted mud pies adorned with berries and rubbed large sycamore leaves to create pencil art. As a teenager, she dove into writing poetry, collected print work and always had a camera in hand.

Transitioning into adulthood, Kathryn explored her creativity through abstract painting and pursued various roles in the creative industries, such as visual merchandising, modeling and makeup. She opened her first hair salon business in Dallas Texas at 24 years old. After 18 years, she felt the need for change. In 2006, she closed the salon doors and embarked on a photographic journey. She spent three years traveling across the United States in a 40-foot RV.

This experience greatly enriched her portfolio and her life.Upon settling in Round Rock, Texas, in 2007, Kathryn began professionally showcasing her work at art shows and galleries in Austin, quickly gaining a dedicated following of art collectors.. Through her acclaimed series such as the "Nature VS. Nurture Series" and "Open Doors," Kathryn sheds light on the beauty of natural processes often overlooked by others, such as rust and decay. Kathryn's ability to find beauty in every aspect of life, even in decay, is a testament to her remarkable perspective and artistic vision. Capturing Mother Nature's transformative power reclaiming inanimate objects she was drawn into experience American history and homesteading in a way that cant be taught by reading books.

Kathryn's talent has garnered recognition in juried competitions, earning awards such as the Merit Award and Second Place in an international contest, as well as a People’s Choice Awards. Her work has also been featured in publications like Origin Magazine and Wyoming Wildlife Magazine.

What distinguishes Kathryn's digital photographs is her minimalist editing approach; she abstains from using Photoshop, opting for delicate edits that preserve the authenticity of her photos, akin to film. Many have been amazed by the tactile quality of her prints, often mistaking them for paintings.

In 2009, Kathryn expanded her talents to real estate photography, utilizing her natural flair for visual merchandising to enhance the spaces she photographed. This led to her to join RESA (Real Estate Staging Association). In 2011 she founded Streamline Home Staging LLC that incorporated her artwork, and other local artists' works to stage stunning model homes for builders.

Often, redesigning homes in the staging industry lead to general contracting and interior designs so in 2019, she rebranded as Streamline Interior Designs. Today, she expresses her creativity in her stunning interiors and organizing annual house concert fundraisers at her home she calls The Heart Rock Ranch. Her husband Glen and she has an abundance of passion to support charities and local musicians and bring love into other folks life.

Kathryn created this signature logo at age 13 and has continued to sign her works of art with it since. This is her first name spelled out.
